The Crouseilles Cellar Cooperative : Collective Strength

Since 1950, the winemakers of the Crouseilles Cellar, located in a small town near Madiran, have joined forces as a dynamic cooperative, deeply rooted in winemaking traditions and guided by strong values. We, the winegrowers, proudly tend to our once-neglected terroirs, cultivating them with boldness and precision to produce wines of character that faithfully express the quintessence of their origins.

Marie Maria embodies an unwavering commitment to preserving and enhancing the nuances of two exceptional terroirs: Madiran for red wines and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh for white wines. The synergy between vine and winemaker is at the heart of our philosophy. With deep respect and passion for our vineyard, we meticulously care for each parcel, striving to capture the purest expression of the fruit. Our methods—manual harvesting, pruning, crop thinning, stripping, and trimming—are all precise gestures through which we guide our vines to produce richly flavored grapes.

The Marie Maria Vinyards : A Symbol of Pride and Unity

Under the Marie Maria Vineyards' banner, our winemakers embody the spirit of community and excellence. By uniting the best terroirs of the appellation, they collaborate to elevate the quality of our wines and share our unique story with the world.

An Inherited Wine Tradition

Our wines, the robust Madiran and the elegant Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, are the result of age-old expertise. Since the Benedictine monks of the 11th century, each generation of winemakers has contributed to refining and enhancing these unique expressions of our terroir. Today’s winemakers, guardians of these traditions, continue to cultivate our heritage with respect and passion.

A Shared Vision : Pursue and Innovate

Marie Maria symbolizes our unwavering commitment to honoring our ancestors' work while integrating innovations that respect and preserve our environment. We are determined to continue revealing the subtleties of our terroir through sustainable, cutting-edge practices, ensuring that each bottle tells a story of devotion and excellence.
